Bosch notes by appliance
Dishwashers. Bosch dishwashers are quiet and tightly built, with a leak protection feature that blocks the cycle if water reaches the base. An E15 code does not always mean a failed machine. It can be a small leak, or a stuck float switch after a cleaning. We find the source, dry the base and test. Persistent drain codes after the filter is clean point to the pump or the drain hose.
Washers. Bosch front loaders have a door lock that can wear. If the door does not open, do not force it. We test the lock and the latch.
Condensation and heat pump dryers. Models with a condenser need the condenser rinsed regularly. If the dryer takes much longer, that is the first check.
Parts. Bosch parts are widely available, though some modules are ordered from a distributor. When a part is not on the truck, we give the price and time before ordering.
What the technician does
- Reads the model and serial number (FD number on the nameplate).
- Tests the part the code points to.
- Gives a price before work starts.
- Repairs, runs the full cycle and explains what failed.

FAQ
What does E15 mean on a Bosch dishwasher?
Water reached the base pan and the leak protection stopped the machine. We find the source and test it.
What do E24 and E25 mean?
A drain problem. Clean the filter. If the code stays, the hose or pump needs checking.
Is a Bosch dishwasher worth repairing?
Often yes if it is under about 10 years old and the repair is under half the price of a new one.
Are you a Bosch authorized service center?
No. We are an independent repair company.
How much does a Bosch repair cost?
Most repairs are $100 to $380. A control module costs more. The $60 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.
